    I've been rebelling against the patriarchy and all the devolves from it since at least 1996.

    That's when I met my ex-wife. I was 24. She was 44.

    "OMG! The age gap! What about kids?"

    She already had kids. I did not want kids of my own. What's this fucking edict that everybody should produce children? Eh?

    So I've been at it for a long time, even if I did not know what I was doing.

    Now that I'm out of multiple closets as pansexual, polyamorous, into BDSM, and still thinking nothing of age gap relationships...

    "Provided everybody is an adult, right?"

    Yes. Why do I need to specify this? :why:

    As I was saying, now that I'm out of multiple closets, it has become clearer to me that a lot of society's edicts are arbitrary rules disguised as scientific fact.
