I find Appreciative Inquiry a motivating approach, and thought I'd take to it easily. Turns out focusing on the positive rather than “the problem” for ten minutes or roleplay was harder than I expected! Problem-solving off, listening on- that is going to take some practice.

Already looking forward to the next edition, in another forest-y environment so I'll take my camera again :)

@jchyip “Yes, and be very strict about retrospectives/post-mortems being about learning, not celebration.” So true. Which doesn’t mean (I hope) that a retrospective couldn’t focus in an #AppreciativeInquiry way on how to grow and expand effective work. Celebrating is fine, and a different activity. #Retrospectives are for learning, growing understanding, and applying what we learned.

@mgbarcomb I hope it will also include a deep dive into the #AppreciativeInquiry frame. Where have we seen transformations go well and what can we do to amplify those conditions? I’m curious about both and the intersections between.
