Qu’est-ce qui se passe quand une bande de photographes amateurs, devenus développeurs amateurs, rejoints par une poignée de développeurs back-end qui développent de la librairie pour développeurs, se décide à travailler sans méthode ni structure sur un logiciel métier pour utilisateur final dont le cœur de compétence (colorimétrie et psychophysique) se situe quelque part entre un BTS photo et un BAC+5 en sciences appliquées, tout en se promettant de sortir 2 versions par an sans gestion de projet ? Tout ça bien sûr dans un projet logiciel dont les fondateurs et la première génération de développeurs sont passés à autre chose ?

@linkdrop @adventure_tense The Ansel project certainly intrigues me. Forking the darktable project is healthy for open source, and a good spirited debate, for different visions.
My only misgiving is how personally negative the Ansel developer is towards the developers at Darktable. Seems like it alienates the same community that is being targeted to support Ansel.
The arguments for Ansel seem more effective to me when explaining and executing to its vision.

#Ansel und #Darktable sind RAW-Entwickler wie Lightroom, wobei die Einstellnugsmöglichkeiten von #Darktable Lightroom in den Schatten stellen. Kehrseite dessen ist, dass es nach meiner Beobachtung auch manch professionelle Fotograf·innen erstmal überfordert.
#Ansel würde ich als abgespeckten und auf Usability getrimmten Fork von #Darktable bezeichnen. Für Menschen, die weniger nerdy in Bezug auf die Entwicklung ihrer Fotos sind, gewiss eine wertvolle Ausrichtung.

The splash was epic and even though I missed the decisive moment not knowing it was liberating. I could focus on enjoying the moment, sharing laughter at puddle water all over my friend's shorts and IN his mouth.
I'm sticking with just using Negadoctor for all exposure/color adjustments (Darktable/Ansel is an amazing FOSS project). Improving scan quality will be a process... 😬 tips welcome!

Well, when you calm down and pay attention the options are easy to figure out. Here's an edit done in Ansel with Negadoctor with the classic white border. I think this edit better captures how I wanted the lab to process the photo.

Решил поиграть в Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
И если обычно в играх, где есть Ansel я могу надолго залипнуть делая скриншоты, то тут я прямо не могу смотреть на безжизненное лицо главной героини.
Причём не помню чтобы такое у меня было в первой части. К сожалению, откопать свои скриншоты тоже не получилось чтобы проверить.
Первые два скриншота - прыжок со скалы в озеро.
На третьем по-моему даже рыбы что-то заподозрили.Ладно, видимо придётся обойтись без залипания в скриншотики и идти по сюжету.
