    @becassine #anotherversionofthetruth when they talk that way they talk *as a state*. Because to a state, race is more invisible. All that matters to the state is whether or not the two or whatever races in question are opposed to eachother, if there's friction, if they have different properties of wealth, different willingnesses to serve, etc. From the state's eye view, racial differences are friction, to be steamed over.

    From the gene's eye view, race dissolves entirely. "Race" is just a collection of dangerous meat, made by copies of yourself or other genes. You're either in it or you're not.

    From music's eye view, race is useful only insofar as people polarize themselves to find you meaningful. Different races will have different rates of sharing you.
