This two-part educational short is a fascinating, liminal time capsule, and gives me such strong vibes of what The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows calls anemoia: "nostalgia for a time you’ve never known". I imagine myself sitting in a dark, stuffy gymnasium, watching this projected onto a screen, listening to the bizzarre music, thinking, "I am in this world, this is here and now, this is real."
