#EngenderedWriting NOV-31 If/when writing queer storylines, do your storylines tend toward tragedy? Or hope and joy?

My gay characters usually don't get their Happily Ever After, but that doesn't mean, they are left devastated. This can mean, they get insights about themselves and/or are empowered. So, it's not exactly a burial site in terms of the #BuryYourGays trope.

That doesn't apply to one of the two trans characters, I've written.

In #SubconsciousMind, Gareth meets Stella, not knowing that they have met even earlier and both Stella and the event that sets the hare running make Gareth question if what he did in the past, was right. His retrograde amnesia (cliché, I know) helps him see things more unbiased.

#SubconsciousMind spielt in Alaska, was an sich schon mal ziemlich cool ist. Lieblingsort wäre wahrscheinlich das Writer's Block. Die Atmosphäre dort ist einfach sehr herzlich und man kann dort Stunden verbringen.
