No, not this one. However, #ExGayHusband and #ForYou were: 'Ex gay husband' is entirely autobiographical (with little instances of creative license due to memories not always being entirely precise), while 'For you' tackles a subject that I wanted to finally bring to paper: My asexuality. However, I found it differently than my characters in the story.

In a way, yes. It would then be a lesbian romance (assuming, I changed the gender of the SC as well to not change the sexual orientation of the MC) wrapped into something else. As a gay author, this might prove to be slightly more challenging as I'm not equally familiar with that, but so aren't I with every aspect of my gay MC's life. And in the end: Love is love, isn't it?

#ScribesAndMakers MAY-2 Finishing a project: good enough or something more?

When a project is finished, I'm done with it. Not in a bad way, but it is in a state where it should be. Some might argue, stuff can be improved and even I might think so in five or ten years time. But for the time being, it mirrors what I wanted to bring to the paper. And that shouldn't be changed by overthinking.

Not content-wise. Of course, using the general idea would be great to spread awareness about #AIPsychosis and the #LonelinessEpidemic, but this would have to come in a much different form. Actually, I imagined it to be a chamber play, though this will probably never be put into action

I'd say, the answer lies somewhere in the middle.

There might be readers who enjoy reading the same story over and over again with the characters' and places' names changed, but of course, there are others who need a little more originality and uncertainty on the ride.

TL;DR No.

If I imagine myself *having to* write, having a deadline, having it stress me out, potentially having a publisher pick my story apart, because it doesn't fit what they want to sell, having to make sure, I can afford rent and food, no, that's probably not what I would want. And I can't work on command.

Depends on your definition of "antagonist". If you think of a personified villain, I have to disappoint you.

I tend to rather write inner struggles as the protagonist's demons.

In the current WIP, you could argue, some characters and things *represent* part of the antagonism: Technology, society, greed, etc.

Well, like with character names, I probably make it waaaaay to complicated 😅

Here's the thing: I don't like too on the nose titles or whole sentences as titles. I usually do one of two things: It's either some sort of wordplay or it is a very brief (sometimes even just one word) title with a deep meaning

Furthermore, the title doesn't always describe the story as a whole but is a bit outside the box

In terms of length? Well, if you'd asked me, my TL;DR would be "book"/"stories", wagging tongues would say "short stories", but actually it's novellas 😅 Btw, I'm bad at short stories, so my usual stories can't be short stories 😉

In terms of tense? Plain ol' past tense. Nothing fancy.

In the past, I used separators within chapters but I don't do that anymore.

I might write several days in a row when I'm on a roll, but with full-time work, getting into the right headspace and being focused enough after work during the work week to write several thousand words or a chapter or more, is challenging, so I try to at least write consistently on weekends when I'm making progress at plotting ahead.

Usually, my stories don't contain sex. The topics, I write about, usually don't need erotic scenes. The characters may have sex off-screen but this is irrelevant to the plot and character development within the story.

#ForYou, however, is an exception as sex is a major part of the plot—yet in a way, that might be surprising in the end.
