oops, was testing a data-fixup task I need to run after tomorrow's release and it's not working as expected, so... a little bit of scrambling. Not a big issue, but annoying.

Friday, late July. Lots of people already out of the office (even more so because I'm in the "last" time zone for our teams).
So I think I have a little more to do but can probably knock off early. If I can get myself to do so. I have a tendency to keep working even when I don't need to... 🙄

We just wrapped up 3.5 hours of demos from the projects everyone did at our company software team hackathon last week.
Such cool stuff got built, across a wide range of different areas of our product and infrastructure.

Yesterday was a long work day! (it's okay, it was by my own choice)
Going to have a number of those in January I think. We have project that *really* needs to get done in the first quarter, and I think we're on track for it, but we do seem to be in a phase at the moment of "oh, here's a new wrinkle..."
In any case, I'm very grateful to have what seems to be steady work, with good people, not doing evil things.

Could the mere prospect of having to go into the office this morning be the cause of my low-grade headache? I took a couple acetaminophen this morning, but it doesn’t seem to be helping. I hope they don’t have any long-term effects.
We live in such a stupid timeline.
