#Amnesty capitulating to JKR has made me quite uneasy, and one of the things that really bothers me, is the seemingly lack of backlash.
That sites like Pink News writes about it in a "here is what happened" manner is not something one should expect, but possibly not surprising.
That queer organizations I kinda expect would say something, appear silent about the matter is hard to relate to.
I am left wondering what #trans people feel, how the trans community reacts, but even from there, I see very little reaction. This, though, I can understand. When the ones you kinda expect to back you, are silent, it gets a lot harder.
Trans rights are under attack, and it's not just "the right / far right" that are being problematic.
And while this hits trans people hard, it's not like the issue does not concern us all. Fear of trans people is used as a weapon to push through control that spans way beyond.
It hurts the cis women they claim to protect as well.

Important thread on the #amnesty report that #jkrowling censored. I don't blame Amnesty at all - the unlimited number of lawsuits JKR offered to fund would have ended them. This is another example of her using the political power that her money gives her to destroy other people's rights, in this case Amnesty's right to freedom of speech.

Jeg returnerer mitt pride-armbånd til #amnesty. Kanskje blir flere med på å gjøre det samme. Amnesty trakk sin kritikk av et av JKR sine sentre. "Det skulle aldri vært publisert" sier Amnesty.
På Amnesty Norge sine sider, publisert i 2010, ligger artikkelen "Amnesty heier på Harry Potter".
Dette var riktignok før JKR viste sitt "sanne ansikt" på en måte som var umulig å misforstå. Men det går tydeligvis ann å angre seg, og avpublisere artikler.
Denne har man latt ligge, vel vitende om hva HP universtet er med på å finansiere.
Det betyr lite om det er en trussel om søksmål som ligger bak det Amnesty gjorde. Vi trenger ikke organisasjoner som kun går etter de som ikke har sterke nok advokater til å være en trussel.
#Pride handler om mer enn "retten til å elske" - og få grupper er så utsatt som transpersoner. "Kvinners rett til trygge rom" er et stråmannargument som stadig vinner frem - godt hjulpet av menn som ønsker alt annet enn trygghet for kvinner.

I thought that I would be safe from persecution, once I got to Japan. This turned out to be wrong.
I ran out of the funds I came here with, in February 2026, and have been #homeless here since.
I turned to every refugee assistance I could find: #JAR, #AAR, #RHQ, #FRESC, #UNHCR , the #Shinagawa City Ward Office. They all denied me assistance.
Second Harvest gave me 5 food packages, over two months, each of which lasts 2-3 days.
The #Takanawa #Catholic #Church was feeding me 1 meal a day, though now they have stopped even that.
When I reported to Mr. Takaii, a priest at #Meguro Catholic Church, that I had been abused by a Catholic Charity in #Kona , #Hawaii ( documented in the link above ), he suddenly told me he did not speak any English, though we had met a few times, and had several conversations, and he speaks English fluently.

The #Pope has condemned #war and called for #peace , and scored cheap #poltical points against #Trump , though he has not called on all #Catholics to resign from the military, and stop participating in war. His apologia are crocodile tears.
I am presently hungry, homeless, and need of medical care.
The Japanese #Immigration Bureau keep asking me why I have "overstayed my visa". I keep responding that while my asylum application is pending, I am not overstaying in Japan. Japan is in violation of #International #Law ( 1951 & 1967 convention on the treatment of #refugees ). They can easily extend my visa, so I can get medical care and food. I have reported to them several times that I am in pain, and need food. They keep on harassing me.
It seems to me that the #JapanPM has decided to make same mistake that Japan made in #WW2 - siding with #corruption
