Played another Tutorial mission with @Sparkrdom . The opposition was tough, so we blew up 3 of the 4 objectives and got out of there.

Scored 6 VP out of 10.

Sorting through my Battletech stuff.

Mechs I have the most duplicates of:

Timber Wolf (Mad Cat) x5
Bane (Kraken) x3
Locust IIC x3
Marauder x3
Nova (Black Hawk) x3

All of these were from at least one salvage box pulls. 2 each for the Nova and Timber Wolves.

No complaints, just funny.

I could run an Oops all Timber Wolf Star.

Sponge technique worked pretty well.

If you flip a dice tray inside out it makes a decent hill for #alphastrike. Ideally it would be a bit shorter and a more natural colour. A way of securing the corners either way (magnets instead of snaps) would allow for two different colours from each hill.

Maybe augment with toppers for more variety (say, grey and brown, then green, white, and tan toppers.)

Also magnets to secure modules together and some supporting shapes like half hexes.

Clan Jade Falcon, Gamma Galxy vs Clan Smoke Jaguar, Psi Galaxy (I think, based on grey with blue highlights) Despite the aggressive crusader Clans, the wall slowed down the game a bit initially. Also the Jaguars were having some equipment trouble (using the wrong side of the tape measure).

#AlphaStrike game at #GauntletGames 250 PV #ClanJadeFalcon against #WolfsDragoons (unpainted) The green Marauder is standing in for a second Annihilator for the Dragoons. No scenario just kill or be killed, scored with PV. The Facons had a narrow win.

The First Lancers saw their first action. Alpha Strike 1 on 1 on 1 king of the hill with randomly moving objective marker. This was my first time playing at Gauntlet Games.
