Not sure if people are aware but a big event is taking place today in Australia. The kick-off of the 2023-24 season of the A-League Women's competition. There are three matches today Sydney FC take on Western Sydney Wanderers in the Sydney Derby, Perth Glory take on Western United but the most important game of the day is the return of the women's F3 Derby.
The mighty Central Coast Mariners take on the Newcastle Jets for the first time competitively in 15 years. And there's more than just three points on the line. It's also the first leg of the coveted F3 trophy. No finer trophy exists in all of the footballing world. Just look at it's magnificence.

I'm super exited to have our local team back and it's a beautiful day to watch some live football.
