  2. Was immer in den letzten Kriegsjahren auf den #Kanalinseln passiert ist: Vieles wurde vertuscht, totgeschwiegen oder mit ins Grab genommen.

In your MC’s mind, what is the worst thing they have ever done.

In terms of the framing of ‘Searching for the Sound of Riduna’, by far and away the worst thing my MC has done is spend six hours in Southampton airport waiting for the fog to clear on a remote island in the English Channel so a plane can be caught to enable a job to start that the MC is only doing because the boss suggested it. Six hours waiting for fog to lift.

A close second is allowing the young woman in the Led Zeppelin t-shirt to slip away before she could give the leads she had hinted at earlier.

  6. ‘The Holocaust happened on British soil’: Inquiry into Nazi camps creates bitter divide on Alderney.

  7. The UK's Channel Island Nazis inquiry is under pressure to find out why the perpetrators never faced justice.

Thousands of people may have perished on Alderney during the second world war. Hundreds are known to have been killed when the Nazis occupied Alderney and set up slave labour camps, including at least one that was taken over by the SS to be used as a concentration camp. But their murderers never stood trial
