Hab diesen Monat bisher ein knappes Drittel meine #GitHubCopilot Premium Token verbraucht.
Kosten dafür sollen ab nächsten Monat über $1100 werden! Github, THIS IS NUTS!
Hab natürlich schon von Pro+ auf Pro Plan reduziert, der Codex 100$ Plan wird es wohl dann richten müssen. Leider ist das Github Copilot Tooling wohl etwas, was ich schmerzlich vermissen werde, die VSCode Extension ist um ein Vielfaches schlechter :-/

Das Meetup richtet sich an alle Level: von ersten Schritten bis hin zu fortgeschrittenen Workflows.
Wir treffen uns, arbeiten an eigenen Projekten, zeigen uns gegenseitig neue Ideen und tauschen Erfahrungen aus. Du kannst aktiv mitmachen oder einfach dabei sein und zuhören.
Das Format ist bewusst entspannt: kein festes Programm, keine Vorträge, kein Leistungsdruck – sondern gemeinsames Arbeiten in guter Atmosphäre.
Bitte bring nach Möglichkeit ein Notebook mit. Internet ist vor Ort vorhanden, ebenso Getränke und Kaffee.

I am trying to formulate a preamble for a repository for shared #AgenticCoding workflows at work and want to emphasize some risks of using #LLMs and #agents, which are IMO often ignored to further increase "developer velocity".
Does anyone have good references on biases in #LargeLanguageModels besides this well-known paper?

Some more coding experience with Codex. The more I use it, the less it makes sense to write SwiftUI code with it.
You spend a convoluted number of tokens just to move some pixels. SwiftUI is already very declarative and with a Preview, you can iterate very quickly through small details.
Meanwhile you spend tons of tokens and wait a long time while you describe, in an inferior language, what you want. Alongside the random “I just rewrote everything wrong or lied to you”.

There are your typical “last slot of the last day of the conference” talks. And then there are ones like this one, where two grown men show up dressed as Doc Brown and Marty McFly, pull in Yours Truly to improvise a song mid-talk, and spend forty-five minutes arguing that the future of software engineering looks suspiciously like the waterfall model your company abandoned in 2009, except this time it might actually work!
“Never Trust a Monkey” is Baruch Sadogursky and Leonid Igolnik’s talk that they gave at Arc of AI about dealing with the non-determinstic nature of agentic coding non-deterministic compilation and how to bolt determinism back onto it. It’s a fascinating talk, and my article has notes from the talk, as well as a video of that talk!

Not sure I like pi.dev as much as Claude... just going ahead and deleting a database (which it did not create as part of this task, but was meant to be adding data to) is not really what I had in mind.
Not critical as it was test data, but I think it should probabl y think twice about just deleting things it didn't create.
