Public holiday and it seems that the holiday mansions down at #MargaretRiver aren't vacuuming eveyone one up.Shopping mall, lynchpin of retail in the #GoldenTriangle, is crowded, coffes, shoppers, gawkers.
Not a mask in sight.
Top of line #AgedCareFacility nearby has no #RatTesting. Other overlooking ocean has testing but allows testers to mingle in a crowded foyer.
Dentist two doors up from another ACF is masking - surgical masks.
Set for a spike.

I think we're seeing this in action around the use of filters worn over the open ends of the human respiratory system. The health care clinic I attended yesterday had all staff using filters. But not of the sort consistent with the physics and engineering of filtering airborne particles.
Two doors up from an #AgedCareFacility.
With sharply rising levels of highly infectious airborne particles reasonably concluded from data showing increasing infection numbers. -
I'm off to inspect a room in an aged care facility possibly for an #ElderlyRelative.
And I get to ask questions.
Please tell me what questions you'd ask.
Even questions you might think of avoiding asking.I'll be Replying to this toot with some of the #AgedCareQuestions I come up with too.
(This #AgedCareFacility / #NursingHome is in #Australia. The standard of care here is much lower than the USA AIUI.)

When I first spent time caring in a nursing home I learnt and was advised to steer clear of the term "babies" for the severely demented.
Years later I spent time with a brain-injured elderly person in a locked ward.
I think #FluidRestrictions for all detainees may have been in place as a way to save on the costs of supplying and changing continence aids.
Think?
I can see the potential for big cost savings and have no confidence that the #AgedCareCompany would not. #AgedCareFacility #NursingHome
