The dating app A4A Radar (Adam4Adam) IMO wrongfully suspends my account. Before that, they IMO wrongfully accused me of being spammer, censored all my messaging and then stopped censoring me again before IMO wrongfully suspending me altogether.

IMO The app is bullying me by groundlessly and abusively suspending my account, without me violating any conditions, which ruins my romantic and dating life and causes toxic loneliness which, according to research, has as bad health effect as smoking 18 cigarettes a day. I was communicating respectfully and didn’t send any sexual pictures. Before, the app IMO bullied and harrassed me by wrongful blocking and accusations: I don’t spam and just write introductory messages about my interests (nothing sexual, no sexual pictures) and suddenly a red banner appears at the top of the screen falsely accusing me “Error: you are marked a spammer” and messages stop working, I can’t even read incoming messages (censorship) or communicate with other people. The app is IMO hypocritical because it’s the app which is IMO spamming with adverts, not me.

Anna, an #Australian woman battling severe #MyalgicEncephalomyelitis (#ME) for over 20 years, is trapped in a toxic home with #abusive family members. She has multiple chronic illnesses too

#Bedbound & forced to stay in a dark room, she is very vulnerable and that is taken advantage of. She is not allowed to access #disabilityaids or supportworkers & needs approval for all mailed items including food, which may be binned or sold regardless. She faces deliberate exposure to sensory overload, days without food, constant yelling, gaslighting, called every insult, stolen belongings - the list is endless.

She has been infected with #COVID 3 times in 15 months due to unmasked family members, who have ignored the pleas of her doctor to be Covid conscious. She now has #LongCovid as well.

This is compounded by #endometriosis, #hypothyroidism, #POTS, #chronicpain, & more. She was forced to decline surgery to remove endometriosis after her family denied her after care & would not allow support workers to assist. One of many examples where medical care was denied by #CoersiveControl

As a result of all this her health is deteriorating rapidly. She is living in "survival mode” but can’t for much longer.

There are no steady rules, just excuses for her #abuse.

Reminder that the gold standard of #humanity is not "everyone thinks the exact same way about absolutely everything, all of the time, or else." That's a #cult.

Just because someone has an opinion, doesn't mean they are "gatekeeping", a word that is heavily over used.

To clarify, #gatekeeping is a real thing, and it is a shitty behaviour: stop it; but, you can't label everyone as gate-keepers simply for having a differing opinion.

Gate-keeping means you are trying to prevent inclusion or limit access to a group or community. Gate-keeping is about control. A person can have a differing opinion, state that opinion freely, and not be participating in gate-keeping, all at the same time.

I particularly become frustrated when people ask an honest question, they get an honest answer from someone, only to have people screaming "GATEKEEPER" about the answer.

Why did you ask a question if you didn't want to hear an honest answer that could differ wildly between people? It's heavily a bait-and-switch situation, and it's #abusive.

I personally have many opinions that people disagree with, but I don't also use those opinions to control the access of other people to groups, communities, or resources. My opinion is mine and affects no one but myself. Typically, I try to make that clear as glass when stating an opinion, but there are so many people that want to read between the lines, it becomes frustrating.

There is a fine line between wanting to protect people and actively trying to #misunderstand people to find a purposeful reason to feel justified about being #offended by something.

None of us live in a vacuum, but sometimes, we sure act like it.

It will be the task of a "small group" of people at Amazon, lets call them oracles, to define what is "#abusive", and a "#futureThreat".

Abuse is not rocket science. People have been managing it for literally decades on #theInternet already.
