#FCC throws open #6GHz band to unlicensed low-power gizmos
FCC adopted extra rules to allow very low-power device operation across entire 1,200 MHz of the 6 GHz band, from 5.925 to 7.125 GHz, within the #US. However, to minimize the risk of any potential interference, the devices will be required to implement a transmit power control mechanism and employ a contention-based protocol. They are, however, prohibited from operating as part of any fixed outdoor infrastructure.

Have you ever used a 'thermo-electric cooler' (aka Peltier device)? Have you used one on an AMD Socket AM5, and not burned down the system or frozen cooling lines? If so, I'd love to hear experiences!
I'm considering the above on a hypothesis/PoC sorta basic, insofar as exploring the options for a potential application during restoration of my watercooled PowerMac G5 (4C PPC-970MP).
The last time I looked into TECs was at the start of the water-cooling wars in 1999... assumptions assume that the landscape is more efficient and less slap-together.

Ever since setting up the new #router we've been tripping over cables. I finally got around to hanging it up on the wall tonight, but I didn't get around to hanging the wired backhaul. So, I'm testing the #6Ghz #wireless backhaul and it's *almost* as fast as it was with the #ethernet
I'm exceptionally satisfied with this #TPLink #Deco #BE10000. It's perfect for >1gig connections. And they marked it down $50 since I bought it!

I'm stuck in my 6GHz WLAN antenna and controller search.
Do you have any reference which is capable to operate WLAN/Wi-Fi on the 6GHz band (Thus, really capable to operate Wi-Fi7 or Wi-Fi6E) and able to operate in a monitor mode?

Apparently enabling 6Ghz on a WiFi network breaks everything not made in the last year or two. And disabling it doesn't resolve anything for those devices (Amazon Fire, Echo, Samsung TVs, even Raspberry Pi).
Unifi really should have a big red indicator saying "DANGER" in their interface. I just threw a first gen Echo in the trash because even after a factory reset, it's apparently blacklisted now ("device not registered") and I'd have to call Amazon to fix it.

Just finished installing the #Netgear #WiFi 630 6E #AXE7800 and can't say enough how much better my home network is by separating out the 2.4gHz, 5gHz, and #6gHz bands.
Those awful 2.4 devices that can't (won't) do #5gHz go on their separate radio and SSID - no longer causing issues with 5gHz devices bouncing down to 2.4 and never back up to 5.
Also, the 2.5mbps #backhaul of this device is amazing! REALLY helped my #network devices. No more #AppleTV buffering issues, and #iOS devices just FLY!
