I designed this Locust IIC mini to print without supports. The parts are separated so they all have a flat surface that contacts the build plate and no vertical angles below 45°.
The legs, while thin are surprisingly tough because of the direction they are printed. The flat side is on the inside of the leg and it's set at an angle so it's hidden from view. I added a bit of a base at the bottom of the feet to protect the toes.
It took just 2g of PLA to print it.

It took a third attempt, but I was finally able to successfully print and cure (to satisfactory levels) that Werewolf STL without any printing errors. Jubilations! 🎉
It certainly took me a while to get to this point, but I'm actually pretty jazzed to start painting some minis that don't have to be tied to a game system or publisher. I'm considering doing a bust next just for something *completely* different.
