Then I found out that FreeCAD, a parametric 3D modeling application, can export 2D views. I redid the same wallet design with all critical dimensions parameterized.
Producing wallets catering to different bill sizes is now as simple as adjusting one or two parameters.

Printed and got the electronics installed. My very right-handed brain is very very mad that it is sitting right to left, but one of the pods fell off and lost a pad which is now somewhere under my desk. So I flipped it around.
