Even though Singapore has repealed Section #377A, it's become interestingly impossible to imagine life back home as a married queer person.
You're not a criminal now, but you also can't look forward to thriving in that society.
Pre-Covid, I was probably ok with the idea of forever cohabitation / no rights / 30 day visa runs, but that Covid showed me how important it is for my family to be recognized as a family.

Happy for #LGBTQ+ friends who, with the repeal of Section #377A of #Singapore's Penal Code, will no longer be considered criminals in the eyes of the law solely because of who they choose to be physically intimate with. So many people have worked so hard for so long, even when things seemed impossible and unmovable, for this day.
