Today marks 10 years since my first #Rust project. I re-wrote a node.js feed crawler using a beta version of 1.0—the 1.0 release would come a few days later. In hindsight this was far too ambitious for a first project as it used HTTP, Redis, Postgres, multi-threading, and character set detection and conversion. 😬
I was going to write a post to mark the occasion, but don't have much to add. I still really enjoy Rust and I'm yet to find any other language that I like using more. #10YearsOfRust
