This reminded me of the #10films hashtag. Can you post #10shots that Influenced your photographic style?

  3. The image in post 3 of the #10films thread is a photo of Judy Heumann from the 2020 documentary Crip Camp.

I'll share an old article from the Washington Post about the film which was nominated for an Oscar:

It was good to learn more about the history of the disability rights movement.

  4. 8: D.E.B.S.

Welcome to 95% of my sexuality.

Also, the #KimPossible / #Shigo (a.k.a. #kigo) movie we so desperately deserved but Disney would never, ever make.

    9: Snatch

A brutal story about brutal people, brutally written and most of all brutally _edited_. See also its companion piece, _Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels_, which honestly I kind of prefer. But they're both great.

Not long after this came out they finally figured out who the serial killer in Vancouver was, and we all learned that "Never trust a man with a pig farm" was far more true than we ever thought.

Classic teen movie. Not just for the 80s either. These are pretty much timeless themes and characters, although to be fair, some classic 80s tropes also kinda define this movie.

I remember hearing Cameron Crowe being interviewed about his story (for Rolling Stone iirc) and thinking this movie sounds awesome.

Classic scenes galore. That it's set in SoCal makes it particularly meaningful for me. 😎
