I read the book. And there is an important point: #we, the #Unionians, have changed by using social media in a way we find populist solution attractive. And there is more. Anybody here who read it or will read it too, and wants to talk about it? (I can borrow you a mine.)

  16. @mk30 This is a really interesting article, thank you - especially on doubts, and minds changed by new insights & experience. Also glad of its link to the EU Water Framework Directive - useful ideas here for many countries!

  17. @PeteHall @OlgaPatlyuk That sound like #Beria, very #NKVD like... the money will be used to rebuild #Ukraine, together with the compensations #Russia will have to pay. Facts: Russia has a GDP between that of Spain and Italy, 5 times more population, and 15 times more surface, which means Russia is not only #Corrupt and poorly managed, but is a very #Poor nation: it can't win.

I recommend watching "The King of Steel Town" by director Chris Sautter. I am familiar with the area and its politics. #Gary, #Hammond, #EastChicago...very particular.

  22. @christine_broesenhuber The main difference between now and 50 years ago, is the fact that #Media wasn't social, just media, meaning folks talking and giving their opinions were somehow #Qualified and subject to standards. Today in "social" media any uneducated imbecile can speak freely, without standards, and poor to no knowledge, reaching an enormous audience made of people as ignorant and dumb as him, creating a #Falsehood-based movement, detached from reality and anchored in ignorance.

  23. @OlgaPatlyuk #Negotiations will happen when #Russia is out of #Ukraine and Russia #Capitulates and accepts #Defeat on Ukraine, we have gone #TooFar, and we are too involved, to settle for less than that. #Russia's coming defeat will send to #China the right message too.

  27. It is clear to me that the management of the #BanquePopulaire sailing team has been as catastrophic as its decision to abandon #ClarisseCremer. It's time for new leadership and change on this historical sailing team":
Clarisse Cremer should not be punished because of the manifest incompetence of the leadership of #BanquePopulaire and even less for becoming a #Mother.

  28. #ClarisseCremer, french Skipper and faster woman in the around the world race #VendeeGlobe has been dropped by her sponsor #BanquePopulaire, because she had a baby. The rules of the #VendeeGlobe race demand a certain number of miles to qualify, she is still able to make the cut, but her sponsor obviously expend too much money on its catastrophic Maxi project, which failed one after another, and decided to sacrifice her without giving her the chance to qualify.
