The #OpenEdition of the #LeidenRanking offers a transparent multidimensional university ranking tool. This is in line with the recommendations made by the Universities of the Netherlands expert group on university rankings https://www.universiteitenvannederland.nl/en/ranking-the-university.
The Open Edition is in fact much more than a simple ranking tool. It offers many different dimensions along which universities can be compared, and it encourages users to compare universities in meaningful ways, not just based on their ranks.
