  4. My biggest disappointment with #Diablo4? There was plenty of space for references to earlier entries in the series but no Deckard Cain journals.

Really, any lore expanding journals or notes would have been great.

  5. @hbuchel I just finished the story playthrough on Diablo IV. If I had a nickel for every time one of the main characters said, "hurry and meet me at (city, dungeon, etc)... We have no time to lose!!" - and then I waste an hour on side quests... I'd be rich enough for some cosmetic armor for my horsie!

  7. @TonyRogers @whylamb @beaumains another useful tool for troubleshooting is lazydocker: github.com/jesseduffield/lazyd

Works great on a headless (e.g. no GUI) server, supports mouse clicky things, etc.

  8. Oh wow, the developer behind my go to Reddit app is developing #SyncForLemmy.

That's awesome news as the only android option (Jerboa) seems a bit too finicky to recommend for newcomers to the fediverse.

  9. Enjoying a beer while grilling kabobs for dinner. #offcolorbrewing Yuzu Fierce with black pepper marinated beef kabobs from Whole Foods. They always go too heavy on the meat, so we're supplementing the veggies.

The highlight is getting to use my new-to-me Paul Garnier Minu-Stop #retrowatch to keep track of when to flip.

  14. Nearly done with prep-work for an internal talk on the installation phase of the #cyberkillchain. Using Sliver C2 to install a beacon as a systems service, then pivoting to an "internal" Windows server where a TCP session relay through is run in memory

    All around fun stuff!

  17. @darth honestly, I love it I desktop mode (aside from the aforementioned package issues). I've taken it for work events with an Anker hub, portable monitor, kb and mouse and it was like working on a normal laptop.

It replaced my aging RoG Zephyrus laptop for coding and gaming, and it takes up less space.

My keyboard is the #OLKB #Preonic - which unfortunately seems to be getting harder to find these days.

  18. Woo! My #TomBihn backpack arrives today.

I have been in the market for a new commuter bag for a while. I'm hoping it lives up to the reputation.

  19. After getting fed up with my Proxmox home lab, I thought I'd ask the fediverse - what do you run in your home lab?

Please boost for visibility, I'm legitimately interested in the spread here.

  20. I'm giving #BitWarden a try after the #lastpassbreach22 - if anybody has any suggestions for how to handle sharing with my spouse or getting my elderly parents on boarded, I would appreciate it.

Right now I'm thinking that I do a family plan and have an organization for the "Brian and Spouse Shared" passwords (utilities etc), and one for "Brian's parents' shared" where my mom and dad can put their stuff - debating self hosting eventually, maybe in AWS?

  23. Is #BeardsOfMastodon a thing?

I need some help from my fellow #beard folks - my favorite #moustache wax (Furtive Fox) is running low, and looks like the shop doesn't make it anymore.

Looking for recommendations for a firmer wax, lightly scented for moustache and beard finishing. Something to help tame fly-aways and occasionally help me do mid-week cosplay as Snidely Whiplash during infrastructure review meetings.
