Who is this #Mush guy. First off, he sounds like a stinky editor, but I don't want to accuse him of that at this time. Gotta give him some latitude. And what is this "X" thing he refers to so often??????

  2. , wants to know if its citizens want to take that next step of going full Handmaids Tale by actively preventing citizens of the United States of America from helping other US citizens get the medical care they want and in many case the care they need.

Living in Texas must be a fucking maddening thing ... And is quickly catching up with the shittiness of the Lone Star State.

There seems to be an unusual number of Books in the murder mystery category that involve murders in remote places in Minnesota and/or Wisconsin.

But that's just some of my personal anecdotal evidence from reading book reviews. I've been wrong plenty, so take this post with a grain of salt.

Have you read this book and was it good, bad or outstanding. TIA for your review.

  7. What will it take for to finally see that climate change is already creating big problems on Planet Earth.

When migration from the areas negatively affected by climate change, will they get their guns out and man the walls on our southern borders. Will they pray to their gods to help defeat the invading mobs who just want a reliable source of water or food to feed their families?

  9. #books #fiction #reading #Baldacci

I started reading "The Edge" by David Baldacci (a Travis Devine novel) on April 4, 2024 and finished it 13 days later. "The Edge" was just an OK book about an undercover agent trying to solve a murder of a CIA agent in the state of Maine. But things get a lot more complicated as the investigation progresses. I gave this book a 3 star rating. And because the book wasn't great, I'll probably give up on Baldacci books in the future.

  21. @GottaLaff

#idaho's Russ Fulcher voted to dismantle the US Constitution on January 6, 2021, yet, he's still a lawmaker. That tells us exactly why #Trump is the undisputed leader of the #RepublicanParty. Power and jesus was the reason for the treason and it will be until every #MAGA #Repubican is booted from the House.

  22. @Strandjunker
Obviously, the #RepublicanParty believes that insurrection and/or coup plotting is just a nothingburger crime. But FansOnly funding from stolen credit cards is serious business. In fairness, the Christian guidance of how to go to the magical place in the skies does cover the stealing part and insurrection isn't. #PraiseBe and #UnderTrumpsEyes.

  23. @GovTrack

It seems that many popular #Republican elected officials and current/former Republican candidates for elective office have been accused and/or charged with crimes.

The US #RepublicanParty could easily be called a #crimesyndicate

If you want to be a registered voter in the US, you should consider whether you want to be part of that organization.

  24. #Books #Libraries #BanningBooks #Religion

Is it fair to say that religion is a big factor in the recent push in the US to ban books.

In other words, are their gods supposedly driving book bans? Because I'm not OK with that. As a matter of fact, banning anything because your god decrees it annoys the hell out of me. It should annoy you no matter what god you believe.

    #Atheist

  25. @Realworldrj

That type of speech was also seen in the TV show, "The Handmaid's Tale." Or was it the banned book where I read things like that?
#Christian #Religion certainly has that, "Love your neighbor" mantra all screwed up, doesn't it. #PraiseBe. #Gilead

  26. #Twitter #X

This Twitter rebranding thing is rather confusing to me.

We shouldn't call Twitter, Twitter but instead refer to it as X, right?

And instead of tweeting, users of that platform will be "X'ing?"

In order to get into that spirit of inclusion and shit, I'll just accept the idea that I don't have an X account and I suppose I never will. So, I won't be tweeting nor Xing in the future.

Maybe #Xlon #Xusk can publicly explain this whole thing to clarify it?
