Happy 🍂 September 🍂! It's a new month, which means a new round of EXTREMELY SINCERE compliments for my Patreon supporters. ( https://www.patreon.com/nextlevelbanana and you too can support making games and game-adjacent experiences in the Pacific Northwest and beyond!)
NB: these compliments are generated by a script that I wrote. No LLMs are involved. Like, ever.

This is possibly the most realistic engineering moment in all of Star Trek. Perhaps I should suggest Twaining as a new team ritual.

I asked my manufacturer what it would cost to add Braille embossing to my game. Not because I think Braille readers are lining up to play, but, y'know, it'd be cool if they COULD.
So this IS a thing the factory can do--I wasn't even sure-- but for a 1,000-unit run, 2-sided embossing would bump the unit cost up $2.38, which unfortunately puts it firmly into "stretch goal" territory for me.
...my next game will have less than 500 cards.

I think this is my favorite card in the game. It's a 6/1 dual-rank, which means you could make, say, a "sleeping wand" in the sense that it puts people to sleep (purpose)... or in the sense that you better not wake it up (condition).
