One last tool we want to share with you for #EarthDay this week are Digital carbon ratings. What are they? In short, they are quick letter grades you can use to determine how carbon intensive your website is. We found Wagtail websites were pretty solid compared to the industry averages. Have a look: https://wagtail.org/blog/digital-carbon-ratings-in-practice/

The Wagtail 7.4 release candidate is available for testing. Give it a whirl. Let us know if anything goes sideways and we'll try to make sure it's right side up before the real release.
All the details are in the release notes here: https://docs.wagtail.org/en/latest/releases/7.4.html

Happy Earth Day! Go delete your stuff.
Seriously. Even spending just a few minutes cleaning up old files can help make a difference. We walk through why in this blog

All right #content people, where do you get images for your content these days? We've experimented with #AI art. But we've found open source images with a snazzy filter (like the image for this blog: https://wagtail.org/blog/gsoc-2021-wrapup/) work just as well.
Can there be a #ResponsibleAI approach to generating art? If not, how do you source your art?

Any developers/photographers using Wagtail CMS to host the photos? My initial thought after reading the internationalization docs is developing a multi-language site in Wagtail seems to have a good developer experience. Although I know nothing about Django and Wagtail, but converting my tiny WordPress photos site shouldn't be that hard I hope.
Another reason I'm itching to try Wagtail is the logo.https://docs.wagtail.org/en/stable/advanced_topics/i18n.html#enabling-internationalization

@mahryekuh TIL about Mixer.
I think Model Bakery has the best DX, and I find it converts people who hate testing to thinking it's not bad.
That said, Wagtail is impossible to get working with Model Bakery, which means you have to use their FactoryBoy project, which feels like a step backwards.
I would love to see someone who knows #WagtailCMS save us all by adding good support to Model Bakery.
