因為弟妹的要求，我去小北買了強力磁鐵直接塞在第三顆西瓜背後，連膠水也沒有用地直接塞進去……
因為隔著一層毛線，如果不是強力磁鐵可能會吸不牢，我還買了5*25mm這麼大顆的強力磁鐵來放。
現在完成了，我覺得很可愛！以冰箱磁鐵來說，我覺得它其實是有點大顆？因此有種拙拙可愛的感覺。

拖了這麼久，今天忽然福至心靈，覺得可以來裝填西瓜了！按照 @miau715 教我的方法，先用薄棉布縫一個小袋（本來建議的是用絲襪，但我沒有破絲襪就用小塊廢布），把塑膠粒填充物裝進去縫好，再裝進鉤織作品裡。
實際上裝填，是先把棉花盡量塞到滿出來，再把塑膠粒小袋壓進去，然後把最後2圈鉤織完成，收口藏線。這裡又要感謝 @meimei 之前給我織圖試做時，順便教了我如何為立體鉤織品收口。雖然我不確定自己是否有完全做對，但看起來有收到就好。（？）
圖片是西瓜針插三態，左是空殼還沒有填充的時候，中是塞好棉花與重物小袋正在鉤織完成時，右是已經做好的西瓜針插。
捏起來非常軟Q可愛，可惜沒有預想的那麼重，但作為針插很夠用了。

Perhaps a hot take, but I feel like if it's not made at least partially of 3dc shells, it shouldn't be called a "granny square", no matter how much the colloquial use has started to shift to mean "generic blanket square"

Good morning my Fine Fedi Friends 💕 I'm up early with the parrots again this morning, but I've woken up with a full blown head cold. Grant had it a week ago and I thought I was going to get away with not catching it, but alack alas I am a sneezy, wheezy mess today 🥴
Still, the parrots can always cheer me up. This morning Ziggy has been chuckling away and yelling "My goodness!" at me, blowing me a kiss and then chuckling again. When I put the fruit on Jadie's flat perch a little rough voice from the shadows asked "Where's the grape?" and I had to explain to her once again that we don't do grapes at breakfast 😊
Plans for today are crochet and watching stuff..I have a couple of days left to finish the competition toy I reckon and a custom crochet toy order - the first in a while - came in on Thursday so I will need to make a start on that too. I will probably end up watching people play Stardew Valley again no doubt as I'm finding it difficult to settle on what I want to watch right now.
