@ai6yr This is just another example of what I've said in the face of AI propaganda that tries to claim that if you're anti-AI, you're anti-accessibility.
If tech cared about accessibility that much, you'd see it in their workplaces, their websites, their products, etc. The fact that people want AI to do it shows they care so little about designing and working accessibly that they want to outsource it to an automaton.
Likewise, students' names weren't important to admin.

European cyclists, especially cyclists in the Balkans: Are there national and international European cycle coalitions you can recommend?
I'm thinking of coalitions that not only hang out for fun, but work on creating positive cycle culture, doing cycle advocacy with various governments (and within the EU), etc?

Was trying to look up when SF might have had outbreaks of cholera and polio and ran across this article from 2020.
Remember 2020?

Not everyone comes from a healthy family or is still a member of one.
Rhetoric that is constantly using "families" or "working families" in place of "people" in issues that are not family-only or working-family- only issues are letting fascists frame the political rhetoric.

LA Daily News linked to a paywall when linking to Tony Thurmond's answer to their questionnaire. So Internet Archive to the rescue!

The LA County ballot says "A list of qualified write-in candidates is available eleven days before the election at lavote.gov." Not sure if that means 11 days before the ballots are sent out (which was May 8) or when they're due (June 2, 2026).
There is this list of "Qualified candidates who do not appear on the ballot" (PDF, which I hope they've made an accessible one): https://content.lavote.gov/docs/rrcc/documents/final-list-of-qualified-candidates-whose-name-will-not-appear-on-the-ballota4a93187-afbe-4a4a-bfb3-c95dafb669d6.pdf #California #USpol #LosAngeles #Election

Here's an interesting bit to the race for Superior Court office #65 - one of the candidates has a spinal cord injury and has put accessibility needs in their candidate statement. Unfortunately, no special interest groups (like the various democratic clubs) have endorsed them so it's hard to get a sense of things outside his own website.

I like to exhort voters to do their research and vote the entire ballot, but if you really cannot find reliable info about a candidate, voting just to tick a box without knowing what you're voting for is not good.

I'm looking up these candidates for Superior Court Judge and while the offices are "non-partisan", so many of the ones running unopposed are endorsed by "Cali MAGA Barbie" and similar endorsements.
FFS.
Attorneys need to work to get some challengers in these races, at the very least.
Whatever you do, don't vote in judicial races without looking up bar association ratings & endorsements. And if you can't find those out, don't vote in those races.
