A Finnish Youtube channel analyses MarineTrafic data of YI Peng 3. Conclusions from the video:
- Ship dragged anchor behind for 400 km
- Ran over several cables, but was able to damage two
- Ship almost halted over shallow waters when the anchor got stuck into sand.The video (in Finnish):

Juuri ennen kaapeleiden alueiden alkua aluksen nopeus tippuu 10 solmusta 6 solmuun, ja alus alkaa heittelehtiä voimakkaasti sivulta sivulle. (Huom. Tämä saattaa olla myös gps-häirintäsignaalista johtuvaa.) Matalikon yllä alus hidastuu voimakkaasti 3.4 solmuun.
