Redesigning our old #website (inspired by Forgejo website and #astrowind but not using it) :blobfoxcomputer:
No Javascript, only #CSS, of course! -
Maybe you noticed that I'm less active than usual on #TBlock these days.
I'm going through a lot of things in my life right now (not necessarily bad things, more like good and neutral things that still require some of my time). All that means that I don't have much time to work on the project.
Hopefully I'll be free more often this Easter, to be able to release a stable version of the GUI. -
We are very happy to announce that #TBlockGUI, the graphical interface for the ad-blocker #TBlock, is now available in beta on @Codeberg :codeberg: :blobcatwavereverse:
To install it, follow the instructions listed here: https://codeberg.org/tblock/tblock-gui#installation :blobcatreading:
Users of GNU/Linux distributions based on #Arch can alternatively install it from the AUR :arch:

Due to #Telegram's decision to implement #NFT usernames into their services, we will unfortunately delete our channel on this service.
TBlock is a project that is strongly opposed to cryptocurrency scams, overconsumption and environmental destruction.
If you want to stay up-to-date with the project, you can follow us on the #fediverse at: https://fosstodon.org/@tblock
You can also chat with us on Matrix at: #tblock:envs.net or on XMPP at: tblockproject [at] chat.disroot.org -
To parents: if you use #TBlock as a #parentalcontrol solution, be sure to let you children have access to resources about #LGBTQIA+ identities! 🏳️🌈
Maybe they are questioning their gender and/or their sexual/romantic orientation(s) but they are too scared to ask their questions to you or anybody else. In that case, online resources can be very helpful. -
If you use #TBlock on #Windows, you may experience the following problems:
- Slow boot time
- Huge delay before internet connectivityUnfortunately, there's nothing much we can do about it. Once again, this shows how #Microsoft wants to lock their users in an environment without letting them the possibility to escape.
Supporting big hosts file is not that much of a challenge, it works like a charm on most POSIX compliant systems. But M$ wants to track you and they'll always try to do so.
