  3. Maybe you noticed that I'm less active than usual on these days.
I'm going through a lot of things in my life right now (not necessarily bad things, more like good and neutral things that still require some of my time). All that means that I don't have much time to work on the project.
Hopefully I'll be free more often this Easter, to be able to release a stable version of the GUI.

Technology is a tool and its up to the people how they use it. Parents can use programs like to protect their kids from harmful/malicious websites, but they can also use it to restrict/censor useful information and educational materials. All I can do is to hope that the parents are wise enough to know what's best for their kids.

BTW, there are even some contries that block these websites, so its good to have tools like to circumvent this censorship.

  14. To parents: if you use as a solution, be sure to let you children have access to resources about + identities! 🏳️‍🌈
Maybe they are questioning their gender and/or their sexual/romantic orientation(s) but they are too scared to ask their questions to you or anybody else. In that case, online resources can be very helpful.

  15. If you use on , you may experience the following problems:
    - Slow boot time
    - Huge delay before internet connectivity

Unfortunately, there's nothing much we can do about it. Once again, this shows how wants to lock their users in an environment without letting them the possibility to escape.

Supporting big hosts file is not that much of a challenge, it works like a charm on most POSIX compliant systems. But M$ wants to track you and they'll always try to do so.

  16. Do you like ? :xmpp:

Yes? In that case: we have an XMPP room dedicated to , where you can chat with the maintainer, report bugs, follow the development, or even get involved in the project!
