  1. lovely minimalist black-white-gray window arrangement with almost no style of prompts or vim (easily build with #fvwm)

    cdn.deskto.ps/images/864406672

  2. another weekend of tweaking #fvwm to my liking (inspired by /r/unixporn which still has some good wm stuff)

found some interesting minimalist gray/black/white styles and an example reviving the whole "desktop bigger than screen" size I used 30 years ago (literally) a lot 😂 reddit.com/r/unixporn/comments

(still undecided in terms of userinterface how and what I want from my prompt, my window titles etc and where to display it all. e.g. starship's language icons are meaningless for me or git state)

  3. reminder that #somafm EXCELLENT "secret agent" stream is full of bond quotes (and stargate SG1 as well 😂 )

great music choices, top quote selection

  4. poking at the #erlang cosmos with #elixir and #gleam and this all makes perfect sense to me

for me making an effort to learn OOP turned out to be somewhat of a waste of time and I abandoned it at the next feasible opportunity and never looked back

it's just not how I think stuff works and it never really clicked

  5. allow me to have a little nerd crush because I'm watching a talk about #jepsen and for me it's pretty much the coolest thing ever about testing AND databases 😍

  6. I'm running 13 regions, 16 opensearch clusters, 16 kafka clusters, 36 clickhouses, 40 victoria clusters, kuberneteses and bare metal, I manage thousands of alerts and thousands of grafana dashboards and logs and metrics and traces of over a million endpoints and:

I did not manage to make one single data source with a successful promql query work in #perses

After an hour(!), I gave up. I'm clearly too stupid for this.
