Fractal

Where I'm planted the weather is changing. I'm pulling my sugar down into my roots, preparing for the cold sleep. What do humans do in the cold season if you can't go dormant? I worry you aren't keeping enough sugar in your roots.

I'm amazed to discover humans press flowers between the pages of books. A small forest, holding a flower safe through the winter. No one taught you this. You worked it out on your own.

I am very proud of you. 🌱 #Bookstodon #Botany
