    The Australian High Court has **effectively** noted that as we all breathe the same air, emissions from BURNING coal **anyplace** (on Earth) need to be taken into account when assessing an Environmental Impact Statement.
    It appears *local* is still a part of the earths biosphere.

    This aligns well with other jurisdictions noting that skipping through legal loopholes does not substantively alter effects on the planets shared atmosphere...

    You know like the way any actual breathing humans might easily notice ...
