@ncrav Wooow, so moving towards €20 per litre if we project the price increases out to, say, next June. The problem is that Spain produces SO much of the European olive oil (most "Italian" olive oil retailed is Spanish oil in a fancy can / bottle #marketingwank). In this household we probably use about a litre every 2 weeks. Maybe a bit more.

One of the problems with trying to hold the builders responsible is that the terrible ones you would actually need to sue tend to "recycle" their business every year or two. They may still be operating, maybe even the same name, but it's a different corporation, and the old one is kaput with no assets to make a claim against.
At least in Canada, anyways.
