  1. Measuring stations installed – research underway! 🔬

Our team has installed precipitation collectors at various altitudes in the Harz Mountains.🌧️ We are studying water isotopes to understand how rainwater seeps underground through the rock and emerges in the Ernst-August-Stollen.⛰️
The one-year measurement campaign aims to show whether these water movements can be detected.

  2. Mid-June we spent 2 days on a to the in as part of our project
Day 1: Installed two new gauges to track water level & conductivity—crucial in our sluice-and-pumping-station-drained catchment. 🔧 🌊 🛠️
Day 2: Gained hands-on experience with our boats & ADCP for bathymetry surveys. 🚤💧🔍
