It will be interesting to see in the near future where parts of the #Fediverse are heading. With the growing number of instances and the desire for regulation and alignment, new processes need to be practiced. #Tumblr is a good example here. Should they have an #AcitivityPub implementation some time soon, questions will arise about how to handle content coming from their direction. You might also want to talk to reps from that company.
