Thank you all for your recommendations on gear for POTA and SOTA. As much of a Yaesu fanboy as I am, I decided to go with the Xiegu G90. Just ordered it and how could I pass up the price tag of $399 for the radio and extras? It makes more sense since I’ll be away with this radio anyway since I live in a townhome. I will definitely get a more traditional base HF right when we move eventually. Now…any recommendations for antennas? #POTA #SOTA #hamradio #XieguG90

As you may have heard, the Island of Maui had a catastrophic fire go through parts of the island including the historic area around Front Street in Lahaina.
