HI #hamradio friends.
I could not find a clear explanation on how to work the filter on my #xiegu #G90 with the current (v.1.80+ firmware), so I put one together for the community.
It can be found on my blog for those who prefer a read: https://tdot.fish/2026/01/16/g90-filter
Or as a video, with captions, on YT: https://youtu.be/xGhJ5ZyVq1s

Graphical summary of my participation as EE5E in the ARRL CW DX contest. Ninety-one contacts on 10, 15 and 20 m, most in the east coast of North America and Great Lakes area. I was using a 5-metre vertical wire with a 49:1 and #5W of power, with a BaMaKey paddle attached to my #XieguG90 (20 WPM). Used Not1MM+Flrig for logging and CAT. Sat for about 14 hours in total.
P.S. The shortest valid ham call sign in the world is not EE5E, as I thought, but rather I5E if it were ever issued.

"Fix Your Radio Hour" a success, except I forgot to take a photo of my operating position at Burns Park in Ann Arbor under the shelter. (Very civilized, with a picnic table to set up on, and a handy nail to hang my 2 meter roll-up J-pole antenna.)
I have borrowed a #XieguG90 to use as a portable HF station, and I have an offer to borrow an end-fed random wire antenna. This would be the park to operate all that from. The #G90 is in a very nice go kit.

My #ADK #POTA trip to Limekiln Lake was a success.
180+ QSOs & 3 activations - all on solar power in a forest with too much shade AND most of my time on the #lateshift.
I managed to work stations on 10, 20, 40, and 80 meters. I was successful on FT4 , FT8, and SSB. While I tried #RTTY, I never got a call back. I'll keep trying, however.
All this was done with a #XieguG90 and an 80m #EFHW up 15-20ft.
