My day out at the market was 100% shot with my cheapo 40mm F2 by TT Artisan. Can recommend :)
We like a fancy 50mm for studio work, but that 40mm F2 is a bargain and so easy to pack when travelling with the teeny tiny Lumix S9.

it's just disappointing that i made this experience with an #OpenSource product which i had hoped to be the better choice. at the time, i chose #nitrokey deliberately… -

Leaving the port at Shimizu, a few weeks ago now. Little glimpses of the sun are still special to me.

Fuji was shy for most of the day. A blanket of clouds hugged the mountain when we visited the Fuji museum. Amazing architecture and cool way to create a view of the mountain. When we returned to the ship at Port Shimizu she was less shy and put on a little show for us as the sunlight faded.

Was a bit busy during my Japan voyage last week so haven't had a chance to share many photos from the trip. Aside from the photo zine above of course.
So will be posting a few square layouts on this thread, starting with a few from Uwajima. The locals put on a nice welcome as our ship comes into port, dressing up some fishing boats with flags and giving us a big wave.
