   New EKOS survey on views of generative AI in Canada, with some very interesting results, including a 68% support rate for an AI development temporary moratorium: https://www.ekospolitics.com/index.php/2026/10/liberals-hold-21-point-lead/

   I would recommend clicking through to view the full survey. There are some interesting results in there, including about correlation with level of disinformation (a disinformation index is something that EKOS has measured in their polls for a while).

   Those who believe higher levels of disinformation are less likely to think that AI is accelerating the speed of disinformation and online harassment, and less likely to support an AI development moratorium.
