I'll put #ClassQuiz media into read-only to migrate data. Will probably take a few hours.

There have been quite a few changes here at #ClassQuiz, mostly under the hood though. Noteworthy ones:
- Double answer prevention
- Sorting of results by newest first
- Social login working again (Google and GitHub)
- New languages (Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese and Tamil)
- Special characters now in answers allowed
- Svelte, Node and Python updates for more speed

If you should find any UI bugs, please reach out anywhere so @Mawoka (me) can address them! Thanks

Thanks for 600 stars for #ClassQuiz on #GitHub!

The storage server of #ClassQuiz will experience a downtime of up to 5 minutes (hopefully) between 2025-11-03 00:00 (CEST) and 2025-11-05 23:59. ClassQuiz itself won't be afffected, just media.

Just checked the #ClassQuiz newsletter: 300 subscribers joined this year and they haven't received any update whatsoever. let's see how long it'll take until there's enough news to send out a new message!

On the testing instance (https://classquiz.test.mawoka.eu) you're now able to hide the question results by clicking the cog wheel in the editor in the top-right corner on a per question basis.

I'll use this instance to test changes I'm not comfortable pushing to https://classquiz.de directly, so don't complain when all data would be gone there. For now, there aren't any new features, just big dependency upgrades under the hood.

I've migrated the media server of ClassQuiz.de to another server. If you should experience any issues (slow loading, missing media), please report back to me.

As #ClassQuiz has gotten more and more popular, it's at the point where it makes sense for me to go closed-source and add a paid tier, only leaving a limited free-tier in place. The changes will be deployed tomorrow.

@Mawoka Messed up, again! (Who else?)

The Emails coming from #ClassQuiz haven't been working for the past few weeks. There were 2 problems involved:
1. As I am self-hosting mailcow, i manage the mail-server myself and somehow, Mailcow broke, but ONLY the part which sent emails. The rest was working and that's why I haven't noticed the issue, but as more people contacted me, I investigated and moved mailcow to another server under a new domain.
2. I forgot to change the email-login on ClassQuiz.

Anyone out there who wants to help make #ClassQuiz better? It'll be super easy and (just) takes 30 minutes: A user-test.

You'll share your screen and I'll give you some tasks to complete and will take notes on that. That's it.

The less familiar you are with technology, the better! If you're interested, please DM me. If you've never used ClassQuiz, that's also completely fine!

#ClassQuiz was down because of a really dumb mistake in the code from @Mawoka, which has in there since... forever... but it should now be fixed. Sorry for that!
