It’s pretty amazing how having the ability to watch #Baseball has made me get more into baseball this year. We definitely have listened to a lot of games on the radio the last couple of years, and still do, but watching them is also fun. Especially when we can watch and have the Cleveland radio announcers for the audio. #TomHamilton is a HOF announcer.
I used to fall asleep (or stay up way too late) listening to the #CincinattiReds as a kid, but now cheer for the #ClevelandGuardians.

Sitting here running #FEA simulations in my hotel room, and my model has 1.24 MILLION degrees of freedom. I’m sure any of you that do FEA probably think that’s pretty pedestrian, but I don’t think many people would realize the size of the matrices being pushed around. This simulation takes about 25 minutes to run because of large displacement and surface contact, and it’s rather amazing that it only takes 25 minutes on modern hardware.

This is a question for the #FreeCAD #macro people: I’ve created a dialog box with 3 radio buttons. The correct default button is selected, but I can’t figure out why the first button is highlighted? I’ve been reading through the documentation for QRadiobutton, but I can’t figure out why the toggled button isn’t highlighted.
Anyone have any ideas?
EDIT: This has been solved. See responses below.

Spent almost 2 hours picking up 15 gallons of ginkgo berries out of my driveway, front yard, and front porch… and I still didn’t get all of the ones currently down. If you’re unfamiliar, the crushed berries smell like a mix of vomit and dog 💩.
I picked up about 10 gallons a week ago.

There are so many #roundabouts going in around our area, which I’m totally in favor of.
One that’s been here for a while got an upgrade this week when they finally got rid of the stop signs that were at each of the 4 entrances. It was the dumbest thing because it was the only one like it, and everyone treated it mostly like a normal roundabout anyway. It made traffic back up so much instead of promoting flow.

Continuing my #3dprinting of the logos of my favorite teams, the next installment is the #Akron Rubber Ducks minor league baseball team. When I bought the hat last year, I knew I needed to do something with the logo because it really pops.
I fired up #inkscape to make a SVG and #freecad to make the model from that SVG. It took a little planning on the heights for the different colors since I only have one extruder. Turned out great!
