Captain Lossius and Captain Dixon, who commanded riverboats on the Canton to Hong Kong run. Quite a lot of data on these fellows online. Lossius met his wife in Manchester and had a narrow escape during a typhoon. They are buried in Hong Kong, just metres from where I lived in the 1980s. Dixon was nearly killed by pirates but died of natural causes on his ship in Shanghai. #foundphoto #vintagephoto #HongKongHistory
