Proposals include new and widened pedestrian crossings, wider footways and waiting areas, improved bus lanes and stops, revised road layouts and new cycling facilities. Changes are proposed on Wandsworth High Street, Buckhold Road, Garratt Lane, East Hill, Swandon Way, Armoury Way, Fairfield Street, Ram Street and Wandsworth Plain.
The scheme aims to improve bus reliability, walking and cycling access, road safety and pedestrian comfort. Some bus journeys could be two to four minutes quicker during morning peak periods.

The pilot, developed with existing contractor Mitie and the RMT, will assess how services could be delivered efficiently, affordably and productively, while helping #TfL build in-house expertise.
