Any of the cool kids have a recipe for turning leftover fat from cooking into truffles for tauhou (#Zosterops lateralis lateralis) birds?

I threw some rolled oats into the fat and mixed it up but then remembered it’s probably too large for their tiny beaks.

Word has got out. There are now 4 tauhou (#Zosterops lateralis lateralis) scrapping over the new feeder and maybe 8 chewing on the old feeder.

Normally there are only 2-4 birds in my backyard but over the last week the crowd has been getting larger.
