In 2017, I covered the Saskatchewan Huskies women’s hockey team, including Montreal’s Kaitlin Willoughby. Robin Ulrich was the head coach.
Ulrich booked a flight from Saskatoon to Ottawa two days ago to make sure she could witness Willoughby playing in the Walter Cup playoffs.
“This is what we dreamed of” is what Ulrich told me before puck drop🥹 #PWHL #yow

Ottawa hasn’t lost at the Canadian Tire Centre during the Walter Cup playoffs, but Montreal beat the Charge 3-0 at the CTC April 3rd.
The Charge trying to avoid elimination as the Victoire have a 2-0 series lead.
