"Gege is just being a good host," Hua Cheng scolds Mu Qing and Feng Xin. He takes a sip of the soup-stew in front of him. The sharpness of Xie Lian's hidden grief floods his tongue, interpreted through such flavors as "several spoonfuls of cinnamon" and "green potatoes". He savors it, gazing adoringly at his husband.
"I'm told my cooking is improving," Xie Lian says innocently, placing bowls in front of the two idiots. "Come on, try it."
"Your cooking *is* improving," Hua Cheng remarks as Feng Xin and Mu Qing both faint. "They each managed *two* bites this time." He holds out his bowl eagerly. "Seconds?"

I must be in a better mood this evening! Wrote some #tgcf #xianlequartet fic -- foregrounds #huaqing and #mulian, but Feng Xin is also present and it's clear he's usually a major part of it.

Xie Lian pulls himself off Feng Xin's cock, a line of spit connecting his mouth to the dripping tip of it. "You'll find something to argue over in any situation, won't you," he laughs. "Come on. Let me distract you, San Lang."
