When people ask how I am, I say good, thanks.
That answer costs nothing to give and nothing to hear, which is exactly why I keep giving it.
Most days it is not true. Most days there is a version of me running underneath that one, doing the actual work of getting through the day, and the version that answers the door is just the part I trust people with.
I do not know a better system yet. I am not sure good, thanks has an honest replacement that fits in a hallway conversation.

Today I learned that tranquilizers (benzodiazepines) barely work when you're in a real truly depressive state. I suspected this long time ago though.
I've been through that myself — even 2–3 mg of Xanax would feel like taking chalk or vitamins. Absolutely nothing touches that hollow, empty feeling inside. Just endless void.

Stavy úzkosti se opravdu dají řešit pomocí Xanaxu jen krátkodobě. Dodnes vlastně nevím, jestli tenkrát neudělala má obvodní doktorka velkou chybu, když mi tyto prášky předepsala. Je to jedno, hledání viníka mi nikdy nepomohlo. Jsem rád, že po tolika letech závislosti na těchto "lécích" jsem už 8 měsíců čistý :) následky po tolika letech užívání těchto látek, ze kterých se #Xanax skládá, bezpochyby jsou, ale snažím se jít dál. Quand tu peux tout perdre d'un été sur l'autre parce que ton pays crame, à quoi bon avoir des tonnes de possessions physiques ? Idem, a quoi bon être propriétaire de son habitation puisque tout les ans tout est remis en cause ?
Ne faudrait-il pas mieux avoir le maximum en dématérialisés ou format transportable que tu puisses jeter tout ça avec trousses de premiers soins et de toilette, de la bouffe et de la flotte dans une valise à caisson inifugé si tu dois être évacué ?En plus de la fin de la mondialisation (crève salope !) on va avoir le retour du nomadisme.
